Hiking

The Sipi Falls region is a hiker’s paradise! Choose from among a series of popular waterfall walks or talk to our guides about custom options to craft the ultimate scenic workout. Hikes can range from a leisurely 15 minute stroll to a strenuous all-day affair. Numerous fantastic viewpoints are also easily accessible by vehicle.

A note on guiding: we understand that some guests may prefer to pick up a map and explore on their own. However, we strongly recommend taking one of our guides with you to ensure a peaceful and relaxing visit. Not only will your guide show you how to find all points of interest and offer interesting information, but any guests moving with an official guide are universally acknowledged as “taken” and will not be hassled along the way by would-be (and often illegitimate) guides. We have friendly, professional guides available at the lodge and will be happy to connect you with one upon your arrival.
